Bloodborne pathogens topped the list of OSHA violations for the healthcare and social assistance industries for fiscal year (FY) 2025 with 152 citations.
Hazard Communication (HazCom) was the second most cited standard, and Electronic submission of Employer Identification Number (EIN) and injury and illness records to OSHA rounded out the top 10 with 8 violations. While penalty amounts may change, the number of violations likely won’t.
